Women’s Hands In Missions
Join us on the first Monday of each month @ 7 pm, in the Christian Fellowship Center (CFC) at Church, to PUT your HANDS to work IN MISSIONS! Here are some of the projects we’ve enjoyed working with:
- Pastors Pantry in Lexington
- Scholarship(s) for college students
- Gates of Zion Holiness Church (to assist with their bus repairs)
- Shut-In ‘Goodie Bags’ for our members
- Meals for Genesis Shelter in Lexington
- School Supplies for Midway Elementary School
- “College Connection” Boxes
- Open Arms in Winston-Salem
Typically we fundraise and contribute over $4,000.00 to Mission Projects annually. So come on out and be a part of this wonderful work!
Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. THAT’S OUR PURPOSE!
